NOBLE drawn glass
Description
The drawn glass method – the first to produce continuous sheets of clear glass – was developed in the late 19th century, and Verrerie de Saint-Just installed its first glass drawing furnace in 1960. The larger sized panes of glass resulting from this method changed the appearance of the windows of the period. This glass, which has the characteristic appearance of antique glass, was widely used in the 20th century alongside hand-blown glass to restore heritage buildings in France.

Technical specifications
Choice of appearance
Drawn glass is the gold standard for architectural glass in terms of transparency. Noble 3 mm has slight, continuous ripples for brilliant, large, multipaned façades. Noble 4.5 mm further enhances the effect of the movement and shimmer in the glass.
Installation
NOBLE glass must be installed in accordance with standard NF DTU 39 and any specific fitting instructions, available on request from Verrerie de Saint-Just. Note that putty containing linseed oil must not be used when fitting laminated glass or double-glazing.
